PROMACLAD are high temperature insulation boards based on exfoliated vermiculite and inorganic binders. The material does not contain asbestos and organic substances. Vermiculite is a layered aluminum magnesium silicate which, when heated quickly, expands to form an ultra light granulate. Plates and fittings are formed by pressing with the addition of binders.
PROMACLAD material can be processed with woodworking machines and tools. It can be cut, drilled and ground. During processing, the level of dust must be controlled. We always recommend using dust removal equipment.
